The Old Dominion University (ODU) Hillel is the home to the Jewish student community with social activities, educational events, and holiday celebrations on and off campus.The Hillel helps students find a balance in being distinctlively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam ( repaing the world) and Jewish learning, and to support Israel and the global Jewish peoplehood.

ODU Hillel is a student driven service and social organization.  It provides and opportunity for Jewish students of all denominations, to come together for Jewish holidays and Shabbat, community work and fun!  It is open to all Jewish Undergraduates and Graduates at ODU, yet it is also inclusive to non-Jewish students, who have a desire to learn more and be part of a Jewish student union.
