Formerly the Chevra T’helim Synagogue, the Jewish Museum & Cultural Center offers a glimpse at a rare surviving example of Eastern European Jewish Orthodoxy. It is a place where visitors from home and around the world can celebrate and learn about Jewish history, faith, and culture by participating in a number of dance, music, painting, and photography events. The Museum has artifacts and exhibits about the history of the Jewish community in the local area as well as an eighteenth-century Torah Scroll from a synagogue in Trebíc, Czechoslovakia.
