Summer Camp Nurse (Seasonal)

Camp JCC is seeking a caring and capable Camp Nurse to join our team and ensure the health and well-being of campers and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid and medical care for campers and staff
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate health records
• Assess and respond to health concerns, illnesses, or injuries
• Communicate with parents and guardians as needed
• Manage and maintain the camp’s health center
• Coordinate with emergency services when necessary
• Monitor and enforce camp health and safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience working with children preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay calm in emergencies
• Prior camp or school nursing experience a plus

Camp JCC Adventure begins June 15 – August 7
Last Blast (Post Camp): August 10 – 21
